San Vili Way - Low Route

San Vili Way - Low Route

WARNING:
From 15.09.2025 until completion of repair works: No vehicle or pedestrian traffic from 00:00 to 24:00 on the old road from S.A. di Mavignola to Pinzolo, in the section between the canal bridge in Tulot and Pinzolo (Via Ronch) as well as the Mavignola district, due to a landslide on the old road.

WARNING:
The section of the San Vili Trail from Loc. Deggia (San Lorenzo in Banale) to Ranzo is closed from 10/12/25 until the safety works on the route are completed.
As an alternative, once you reach Deggia, you can head uphill towards Loc. Nembia for a few kilometers and then take the unpaved road leading to Ranzo.

The LOW variant of the Cammino di San Vili starts from Madonna di Campiglio and follows the valley along to the Cathedral San Vigilio in Trento.
Total length: 106 km. Total hiking time: 35 hours.

Here is a suggestion to organize the journey on the "classic" route. The proposal has 3 variants: a 5-day version for those who want to hike all day, and versions in 6 and 7 days for those who want more time for sightseeing.

Of course, you can adjust the itinerary individually to your needs.

Pilgrim pass officially called Credenziale, which documents the pilgrimage route with stamps.

It is important to pack only useful items. The ideal hiking backpack weighs between 5 and 7 kg.
