A fairly demanding hike leading to the summit of Monte Cadria, the highest mountain in Valle di Ledro, with its beautiful landscapes and numerous traces of the Great War.
A demanding route that alternates between steep and milder sections, with a short exposed final stretch, to reach the summit of Monte Cadria in about 3 hours. From the summit, the panorama sweeps from Adamello to Brenta, from the Garda Alps to Lake Ledro. Along the trail from Malga Cadria, there are remains of Great War fortifications, caves and tunnels overlooking the Concei and Ledro valleys. In summer, you can see the grazing cows.
Trained hikers and history buffs shouldn’t miss the climb to the summit of Mount Nozzolo, south of the Malga Cadria basin. Here, on an old Austro-Hungarian road, you can visit several underground structures from World War I.
