A fairly easy route, all uphill, that starts on a road, continues on a mule track and ends on a path through woods, meadows and pastures.
This is a pleasant itinerary that winds through this solitary valley to Malga Méda, recently restored as a comfortable bivouac. The route starts from the Madonna del Làres Sanctuary and, after a short stretch on an asphalt road, it immediately turns into a concrete road that leads to Malga Splaz. Once you have passed the alpine hut, you come to a dirt road that crosses the pastureland, first in a straight line and then in a series of hairpin bends that lead to the village of Smolinà. This is where the beautiful mule track begins, which climbs up the valley with wide, easy hairpin bends, surrounded by trees and a panoramic view of the Adamello Group. The route gradually gains height and becomes a comfortable path that runs along the grassy basin to the head of the valley, where the beautiful Malga Méda alpine hut stands on a small hill.
