Malga Avalina: history, tradition and mountain cheeses
Malga Avalina is a true piece of Trentino mountain history. Its structure, built in 1951, preserves the memory of a time when milk was transported to the Roncone dairy by cable car. Malga Avalina has become a place where the dairy tradition is alive and well rooted, with the production of butter, local cheese and caciottelle with an authentic flavour. The cows, which graze on wide and uncontaminated soils, feed on what is called "top grass", a precious grass that has never been touched before, which gives the products a unique and unmistakable flavour.
