Malga Spina: tradition of taste in the heart of the Alpine summer
At an altitude of 1450 metres, where the air is pure and the pastures are tinged with an intense green, is Malga Spina, the queen of the grazing system that embraces the mountain estates of the Darzo community. A place where peasant tradition meets the wild charm of the Trentino mountains. It is not only the strategic position that makes it special, but also its facilities: a large recently renovated house and a large and functional stud. Malga Spina is a milk hut, and it is here that fresh milk from nearby huts is collected and processed every day, with the wisdom of yesteryear. Among cows, heifers and goats of the local breed, the Malgarian carries on an ancient knowledge: the transformation of milk into genuine cheeses, with an intense and unmistakable taste.
