Maso di Pimunt

 title=

Indicative of the typical economies of the past are the rural agglomerations of Pimunt and Fogajard, perfectly preserved and revived in different ways, without distorting their architecture.

Pimunt stands out for being an ancient half-mountain settlement consisting of barns, small stables with feeders and dairies, once home to lively rural activity. A typical alpine farm in local stone and wood dating back to the late 1800s, then expanded in 1905, passed down in the family for 4 generations, who lived here until about the 1950s.
Through careful conservative renovation, the farmhouse has been completely renovated, preserving the original perimeter walls. Every stone expertly laid by hand more than a century ago, is still here today to witness the events of a past era that formed the roots of our present.

STRENGTH:

The main façade houses a fresco depicting Sant 'Antonio Abate dating back to 1911, protected by the Code of Cultural Heritage and Landscape.
