More freedom on the slopes, more clean energy on the trail.
Madonna di Campiglio opens the 2025/2026 ski season with excitement and innovations aimed at elevating your skiing experience.
The future of skiing is here!
The Ideal Number
Quality service, safety on the slopes, and your satisfaction come first.
quality comes firstSkiArea Madonna di Campiglio is redefining the experience with the “Ideal Number” project, designed to optimize skier flow and limit the number of daily pass holders during peak times (New Year’s and Carnival).
Restrictions apply only to daily SkiArea passes sold online; seasonal passholders, pay-per-use cards (Starpass, MyPass, Telepass, Snowit, Alto Ski), multi-day passes (2+ days), and passes within Pinzolo and Folgarida Marilleva remain unaffected. Non-skiers can also freely access pedestrian-enabled lifts. We suggest buying the daily skipass in advance to ensure your spot on the slopes.
Madonna di Campiglio is the first Italian ski destination to prioritize quality over quantity by setting the ideal number of skiers on the slopes!
How the Ideal Number works?
when?
During peak periods, New Year’s (Dec 28, 2025 - Jan 5, 2026) and Carnival (Feb 15-22, 2026), a limit will be set on daily SkiArea pass sales online to ensure the Ideal Number of skiers on the slopes.
New “smart” skipasses are also being developed. These passes will help skiers avoid crowded zones during these peak days by dynamically distributing skier traffic across the 150 km of slopes, which include Madonna di Campiglio, Folgarida, Marilleva, and Pinzolo.
The “pristine” slopes
Introducing the midday re-groomed run.
Ski on the perfect slope
Experience pristine snow like never before! This season, the Vagliana slope on Grostè will close briefly at midday for a fresh grooming session, just like the nightly grooming. Starting at 13:00, you’ll enjoy impeccably smooth, untouched slopes for the afternoon.
The Madonna di Campiglio lift company reserves the right not to guarantee operating services on days when weather conditions are not suitable or for safety/organizational reasons.
Ski first
In the Madonna di Campiglio Ski Area, the ski lifts open earlier
the first on the slopes
Love hitting the slopes before the crowds? If your answer is yes, you will love this initiative.
To ski even better, the lifts and slopes of the Madonna di Campiglio Ski Area open earlier on certain high season days. The opening will be announced on the website www.ski.it and confirmed day by day.
The ski area will open between 7:30 and 8:00 (depending on the lift and only in case of favorable weather conditions) and will remain open as usual until 16:30.
The ski pass purchased for those dates will already be activated and no additional fees are required.
Pinzolo: where time tells its story
At 2,100 meters above sea level on Doss del Sabion, there’s a groundbreaking way to experience the mountains
An innovative project It's an immersive trail where science, art, and nature come together to tell the ancient story of the Brenta Dolomites. It’s a one-of-a-kind journey through geological eras designed to inspire, amaze, and provoke thought.
When you arrive by the Prà Rodont – Doss del Sabion cable car, you’ll find a panoramic hall with immersive projections guiding you through six epochs, from the Big Bang to the present day. Just nearby is the Island of Contemplation, featuring art installations seamlessly blending with the alpine surroundings.
