LODRONE AND PALAZZO BAVARIA Lodrone is situated where the Val del Chiese reaches its widest point: here, traces of the Lodrón family – one of the most powerful families in Trentino during the Middle Ages – are still evident, particularly in the fascinating Palazzo Bavaria.

In Lodrone and at Palazzo Bavaria, there is a medieval camp open to visitors, historical re-enactments and demonstrations, activities and workshops for children, walks and guided tours to discover the sites associated with the Lodron family. There will also be shows, music, juggling and a food trail through the village streets.
