Chestnut and Walnut: enhancement and sustainability of the supply chain
In the heart of the Alpi Ledrensi and Judicaria Biosphere Reserve, “CaNossa” takes shape — a project dedicated to the enhancement and sustainability of the chestnut and walnut supply chains.
The initiative, the result of collaboration between the Biosphere Reserve, the Edmund Mach Foundation, and various local partners, combines scientific research and practical action in the field to improve resource management, promote sustainable agricultural practices, and rediscover two crops that are part of the cultural and economic identity of the valleys.
A path that blends innovation and tradition, aiming to create new opportunities for local agriculture and to strengthen the relationship between people and the environment in the spirit of sustainability.
