An easy and scenic walk in a landscape of a thousand shades of green. A must for lovers of panoramic views, genuine dairy products and the Great War theme.
This is an easy hike through wide open spaces that retain their panoramic character until you reach Cima Pissola. Climbing along the mountainside, accompanied by the wide Dosso dei Morti, which marks the border of Val di Daone, the imposing figure of Monte Cadria and the Ledrensi Alps, you reach the summit, where the view opens up to embrace the Adamello and Brenta Dolomites, while a corten metal work representing a cannon allows you to know the name of each of the peaks on the horizon, depending on where it is pointed. After the descent to Malga Pissola, the itinerary becomes a flat walk to Malga Table, along a forest road surrounded by monumental fir trees.
Continue your journey on La Via delle Valli, where you can choose to explore any of the 50 proposed valleys. Find out more at: www.campigliodolomiti.it/laviadellevalli.
You will find signs and stamps in the valleys from July 2025.
From Cima Pissola you can continue on path n.251 to the Sella di Bondolo pass, from where path n.258 descends to Malga Bondolo in Val Avèrta, or you can continue on path n.251 to Passo del Lago, from where path n.257B leads to the summit of Monte Bruffione, the arrival point of the Val Avèrta route. You can also reach Val Nova by taking path n.251, which, at the crossroads at Bocca di Remà, joins path SAT 250 and continues along the same path to Bocca di Frontale, the starting point of the Val Nova itinerary.
